In this first episode there's no better way to explore the natural world than to meet my closest friend Doug. Doug and I live only thirty minutes apart but both started world class gardens at the exact same time with no knowledge of what the other was doing. We explore both of our origins stories of gardening and the natural world and how we met. Doug owns one of the largest private collections of Japanese Maples in the world and is a true story of how you should always pursue the things you love. We also tackle the word "practicality" and how you should eliminate it from your vocabulary before it's too late.
